Business & Company Resource Center- provides access to a wide variety of global business information including competitive intelligence, career and investment opportunities, business rankings, company histories and much more.


CQ Researcher - Explores current issues in depth on topics ranging from teens to environmentalism as well as health, education, science, and technology. Every 12,000 word report is written by an experienced journalist and features comments from experts, lawmakers, and citizens an all sides of an issue. Online database goes back to 1991.


History Resource Center-U.S. – Authoritative materials needed for the study of American history: selections from reference works; primary source materials; full-text magazine and journal articles; links to digitized special collections.

History Resource Center-World – Authoritative materials needed for the study of American history: selections from reference works; primary source materials; full-text magazine and journal articles; links to digitized special collections.


The Indianapolis Star - Complete full-text coverage from the Indianapolis Star back to 1999, including obituaries but excluding paid advertisements and free-lance writers.


Literature Resource Center - A database designed for undergraduate and high-school students, containing full-text journal articles, critical essays, biographies, plot summaries, and links to authoritative websites. It is is the most comprehensive literary collection available online.


Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center - Information on social issues drawn from news articles, books, websites and primary documents, arranged to highlight the differences between contrasting viewpoints

Science Resource Center - covers earth, life, physical, space, and history. Has thousands of topic overviews, experiments, biographies, pictures and illustrations. The latest scientific developments are covered in articles from over 200 magazines and academic journals and links to quality web sites. The database covers curriculum-related science topics and offers teachers an easy-to-use tool to identify content directly correlated to state and national standards.


SIRS Discoverer -
is an award-winning, general reference resource for young researchers that makes learning fun and intuitive. SIRS Discoverer helps students in grades 1-9 develop their research, writing, language and computer skills. Students can do research, read stories, learn about important people, places and events, find fun projects to do and much more. The database includes carefully selected full-text articles and images from more than 1,600 domestic and international newspapers, magazines, online sources and government documents.


SIRS Knowledge Source
is a comprehensive search portal which is comprised of several distinct reference databases including SIRS Researcher®, SIRS Government Reporter®,
SIRS Renaissance®, and SKS WebSelectTM. You may choose to search them individually but the default is all four at once.


Student Resource Center - Designed to be a single starting point for students at all levels, with a wide range of materials supporting classroom work: full-text articles from 1200 magazines; 18,000 photos and graphics; AV resources; primary documents; links to selected websites..

Access to the databases from Gale – In order to maintain usage statistics, each school district has received a separate URL to access the Gale database ;the url for your school district is embedded in the MyiLibrary page for your school.
